Years dissolve
because I see no mirror,
because today is a place,
this moment, an emotion
this sight, a picture,
from a life that fits as yesterday.
I know I lived a life between,
raised a family,
fulfilled a career,
but today these take a parallel line,
adding no time to the line I advance
except to ponder this puzzle:
How can it be
(one day to next)
that you now shield me from much vulgarity
and show me too much respect?
Years Dissolve.
