    a few together
    and far between

And beyond beyond
oh-yes the mountain peak
    handsome
    distant
    narcissist
    to demark earth at sky

Otherwise meadow

Everywhere meadow
    wrinkled
    humble
    artist-drop-cloth
    disguised these weeks as blanket of snow
    ignoring this morning those summer multitudes
    so that I
    I alone
    may pretend to be alone
    to own forever
    that willow there
    and this clump of grass
    dormant
    and brown
